To all whom these presents shall come greeting
Know Ye that in pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly passed on
The twenty third day of November Eighteen hundred and nine there is
Granted by the said State of Tennessee unto Mary Clendinon James Clendinon
John Clendinon Polly Clendinon Nancy Clendinon Ester McGee Jenny Beard &
Betsy Clabaugh Heirs of John Clendinon a certain tract or parcel of
Land containing Two hundred and twelve Acres one Road and eight
Chain lying in the County of Sevier in the District South of French
Broad and Holston on the waters of Flat Creek there being due and chargeable
on said land ~~~ the sum of Two hundred and twelve Dollars and
Twenty five Cents with the interest due thereon Beginning at a red oak
and post oak and running with the vacant land South seventy six West
nineteen Chain to a hickory South fifty five West thirty three Chain
to an ash then with vacant Land and Jasper Moon North twenty nine
West forty eight Chain and three Tenths to a pine then with said Moon
North eight Chain and Five Tenths to an elm north eighty seven West
