The mtDNA results for a sample taken from H. Dean McGee indicates that the matrilineal kin are of Haplogroup H. The HRV1 and HRV2 differences from the CRS references are:

HRV1 - 16468C, 16519C;
HRV2 - 146C, 263G, 309.1C, 315.1C, 524.1A, 524.2C, 524.3A, 524.4C.

Haplogroup H is shared by a significant number of Europeans.
