These are projects and/or databases that are already in progress. You may contribute information to these. For examples, see the ONS Directory.

Census Records
|
Need year of census, name mentioned, head of household, township, county, state of census, and details. May also send scanned image f census in jpeg or GIF format.

Obituaries
|
Name of deceased, where obit found (name and date of paper, etc.), transcribed details of obit.
|
|
|
Military Service
|
Name of serviceman, war, allegiance, unit, rank, extra details, and source of record
|
|
|
Cemetery
|
Name of deceased, name of cemetery, location of cemetery, tombstone inscription, extra details, and source. May also send image of tombstone or cemetery in jpeg or GIF format.

Photographs
|
Name of individuals shown, time and location of photograph, if known. Please send in jpeg or GIF or similar format.

Biography
|
Name of individual profiled, author of bio. May be sketches or detailed bios.

Birth Records
|
Name of individual, parents if indicated, year, place of birth, source of record.

Last Will
|
May send transcribed will or image of will.

Land Records
|
Deed records or other records dealing with land.
|

Pension Records
|
Name of individual, names of others mentioned, other details and source of record.

Bible Records
|
Original owner of Bible, transcription of individuals mentioned, current whereabouts of Bible, if known.

Marriage Records
|
Bride and Groom names, witnesses, date and location, and source of record.

Upcoming Projects

These are projects and/or databases that have not yet been launched. The descriptions are intended more as a guideline than as something to which we must strictly adhere. Regimental Histories
|
Regimental histories/profiles of the Civil War regiments in which MCKs served.

Modern Family Profiles
|
Introduce and tell about the modern branches of the different families (like the "My Family" page).

Genealogy Profiles
|
Pages devoted to the lesser known branches of the family--i.e. the African American families, the "late arrivals", etc. These would include family group sheets and pedigrees to help illustrate what is known on the families and therefore increase the potential for additional discovery.

|
Listing of books or other resources that members own that they are willing to do look-ups in for other members.

|
Military Heroes page honoring MCKs who have in the past or are currently serving in the armed forces.
