Martha Ann Smith was born Martha Ann Childers (4 February 1825 in Lincoln County, Tennessee - 13 Jun 1911 in Calaveras County, California). Her first husband was Robert Smith who died before 1849 and left her with three daughters. I have attached a photographs of Martha and of her husband, Clement Vann McNair, and her daughter Leota. (Notice my spelling of Leota, not Leoda. I'm not certain of mine, are you?)
