Will of Benjamin Peacock

    "In the name of God amen. I Benjamin Peacock of the County of Loudoun and State of Virginia being about seventy two years old, weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be almighty God for same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following viz First after all my debts and funeral expenses are paid I give and bequeath to my three oldest sons John, Samuel and Hezekiah Peacock one dollar to each of them and no more for I have given them as much already as my ability will afford next I give and bequeath to my two daughters Ann and Susannah each of them a good feather bed and beding, each of them a saddle and each of them a cow the residue and remainder of my property that I have or shall have at that time of my deceas both real and personal I doe give and bequeth to my youngest son William Peacock at the same time reserving to my beloved wife the use profits interest and privelages of all the property that I leave after all my debts are paid as before mentioned during her life or widowhood at her death or; marriage to be divided as before directed if my son William should die without any heir begotten of his body the part before mentioned for him is to be equally divided between my two daughters Ann and Susannah if either of them should be without heirs as before mentioned it is my will and desire that the one still living shall have the part that was intended for both my well beloved wife and my son William Peacock I hereby appoint Executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the fourth day of January eighteen hundred and eight.

 Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Benjamin Peacock to be his last will and testament in the presents of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presents of the testator.
