More Coorespondence related to Elijah Peacock Posted by David Peacock <[email protected]> on Tue, 20 Oct 1998 Surname: Peacock, Elijah Elijah Peacock (b1797 - Loudoun Co. Va.) I am searching for information on my g-g-grandfather Elijah who was listed in the 1850 census as a farmer in Loudoun County. His will (circa 1851) states that his farm was on "land lying on the broad run on the north and south of the Leesburg turnpike." He is believed to have been married to Mary Jane Wright, possibly 1842, and Ann Nancy Hough, dates unknown. There is a lot of confusion about the order of marriage. He had a total of ten children by his two wives. His sixth child, Lewis Thomas Peacock (b1833?), my g-grandfather, was known to be running a stage coach line between Leesburg and Winchester in 1865 shortly after the conclusion of the War. I would appreciate any information on Elijah and his parents. Children with 3rd wife, Mary Lavinia Peacock (my g-grandmother m. Albert Franklin Moran) James William Peacock (m. Albert's sister - Martha Moran) Sally Archer Peadock (never married that I know), Kitty S. Peacock, Elizah Ann Peacock, Annie Rose Peacock ( married John W. Moran, Albert's brother). Albert Franklin Moran. Mary's mother, Eliza Ann Rose m. Elijah Peacock. She went by the name Ann. Eliza Ann's mother, Kitty Sims Wooddy m. John W. Rose.
