John McVey died 1822 in Todd Co. Kentucky, from Will Book A pages 59 & 60 of Todd Co., Kentucky. His will was dated Sept 23, 1822 and probated Nov 11, 1822. Rachel was born 1769 Virginia and died Jan 29, 1853 in Lee Co. Iowa. The History of Macoupin Illinois said seven McVey brothers came from Tennessee. John and Rachel's children were John, Thomas R., Margaret, William Carson, Charles McClung, Nathaniel, Samuel W., Edley P., and Rachel Jane McVey. Table of Contents
