Plainville Cemetery

Plainville Cemetery is located on WI Highway 13 about 1 to 1.5 miles South of County Highway K.
It is a small cemetery, but quite compact - it has a great number of stones in such a small area.
There is a barely-there, U-shaped, drive dividing the cemetery into 3 parts.



Section A is the one on the North part of the cemetery,
Section B is the Center part (inside the "U" of the drive),
and Section C is the South part.
Section B is the largest of the 3.
Standing in the front and center of Section B is the above pictured monument.
Order within the rows is from South to North.

You will notice my son in a couple pictures, he is my helper.
At almost 5, he climbs into the bushes and weeds, flower, etc to help me get a better shot at the headstones.
To him, these older cemeteries are like a treasure hunt - one never knows where we will find a long-neglected stone!
