Harry Roberts' family

Born in Australia about 1871, Harry Roberts was from a theatrical family -- his sister, Laura, was also an actress, married to an actor named Taylor. In 1918, the Taylors and their two daughters went to the United States (staying with Francisco and John Comstock in San Francisco), then began to make their way across the country toward New York with their vaudeville act. Ten days after reaching New York City, Mr. Taylor died, one of the millions of victims of the great influenza epidemic. Laura Roberts Taylor never acted again, but nevertheless stayed in the United States with her daughters -- one of whom married a Comstock.
