Young, Rev. George
Proceeding to Winnipeg in 1868, he became Superintendent of Missions there, and was 1st President of the Manitoba and North West Conference. He was there throughout the Reil Rebellion, 1869-1870, and attended Thomas Scott, who was executed by Reil, in his last moments. Owing to ill health he resigned his position in Manitoba in 1884, and then sustained a superannuated relation. He published a volume entitled: "Manitoba Memories, being Leaves from my Life in the Prairie Provinces, 1868-1884" (1897). In 1906 he was living at 348 Victoria St., Toronto
