Remember me in the family tree my name, my days, my strife; Then I'll ride upon the wings of time and live an endless life. Linda Goetsch

Welcome to my family history (genealogy). You can navigate the site using the buttons on the left or from the links on each page. The site is best viewed full-screen and at a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. I hope that you enjoy reading about my ancestors. If they are your ancestors too, or if you have any comments, questions or amendments then please do contact me. Sadly I have had to delete the automatic Guest Book because of abuse by spammers, but I have replaced it with a manual one.

This site will be evolving as my research progresses -albeit slowly. The intention is to concentrate on the four families of my grandparents. My paternal lineage includes the ANDREWS & STREATFIELD families from Kent. My maternal lineage is the LEESON & BONEHAM families from that part of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire & Oxfordshire sometimes referred to as “Banburyshire”. To keep this site manageable I am including my direct ancestors, their siblings and the siblings’ spouses ONLY.  However, I often have additional information in my files, so it is always worth asking. Wherever possible, I will attempt to put ‘flesh on the bones’ of my ancestors by including biographical information, historical context and photographs.

I will also be including at least some basic information about other families that marry into the above.  The following families will eventually be included: ADAMS, BUCKSEY,  COUCHMAN, LOMAS, MARLOW, PACKMAN, SAWKINS and WATTS.

The majority of the information contained at this site is based on my own research using the primary and secondary sources often listed at the bottom of the page. Many people have kindly shared with me information that they collected during their own research. I am truly grateful for their assistance and have included their names on the relevant pages in acknowledgment. Any errors in the information in this site are more than likely mine. Although I endeavour to check all the information, some items are still of a speculative nature. Such items are coloured grey in the text and should be treated with appropriate caution.  If you find an error or have any other comments about this site, please do let me know

Linda not only wrote this wonderful poem she also designs  family tree charts. Caveat emptor: I have not seen one ‘in the flesh’.
