In the name of God Amen.  I the undersigned Henry Christ of Bethel Township, Berks County and State of Pennsylvania, although, I find myself alike in good health, but consider that it is appointed each person to die make and declare herewith these presents to my last will and testament namely;  First I commend my immortal soul into the hands of my God to his eternal mercy and my body to the earth and what appertains to my worldly estates consisting in different movable goods which my Executors shall sell at Public and shall pay all my lawful debts and then my Executors shall pay out all the remaining money in four equal shares as follows; namely one share to my daughter Leah intermarried with Michael Hiester, one share to my daughter Elizabeth intermarried with John Henninger, one share to my daughter Hannah and one share to my deceased son Jacob, his son Jacob or his heirs.  This my last Will and Testament shall itself never the less in no respect conflict with an agreement which I have made with my son John, namely the twenty ninth day of August AD, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Nine, but as it is therein ordered so it shall be treated as if no will had been made.  Should my daughter Hannah or the above mentioned Jacob my son's son, one of them die without heirs, so it shall be paid out in equal shares among my other children, excepting my son John shall not be included.  The said Jacob who is now in the Army, so the above named other heirs shall take up his share and retain in hand without interest until he comes home again or until they can show that he is dead.  If they can prove this, so they shall retain it.  My Executors shall deduct all costs, shall nevertheless have no reward for settling up my Estate and finally I appoint my sons-in-law namely Michael Hiester and John Henninger (John Henninger crossed out) as Executors of this my last will and testament so done in Bethel Township, Berks County, this third day of January AD One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-Two.
