    Major Thomas MILLIDGE, the son of John MILLIDGE, was born 1735 in Hanover, New Jersey. He married Mercy BARKER on December 3, 1758 in Hanover Presbyterian Church, Hanover, New Jersey, and they had seven children. Thomas died on September 8, 1816 in Granville Centre, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia and was buried in English Church Cemetery, Granville Centre, Nova Scotia.

    Biographical Sketches of Loyalists of the American Revolution
    "Major Thomas Millidge, of New Jersey. Previous to the Revolution, he ws Surveyor-General of that colony. He entered the millitary service, and was Major of the First Battalion of New Jersey Volunteers raised by Skinner. At the close of the War he went to New Brunswick, and made a survey of the River St. Croix, and the waters adjacent. He settled in Nova Scotia, and was a Colonel in the militia. He died in Granville, Annapolis County, in 1816, aged eighty-one. His son, Thomas was an emminent merchant, a magistrate and a member of the House of Assembly, and resided at St. John, New Brunswick, until his decease, at the age of sixty-two."

    Stephen MILLIDGE, the son of Thomas MILLIDGE and Mercy BARKER, was born in Hanover, New Jersey. He married Sarah BOTSFORD, the daughter of Hon. Amos E. BOTSFORD and Sarah CHANDLER, on February 16, 1790 in Westmoreland County, New Brunswick, and they had seven children. Stephen died 1803 in Westmoreland County, New Brunswick. Sarah died in 1807.

    "Stephen Millidge, from New Jersey. During the War he served with the New Jersey Volunteers, and received land within his regimental block at Kingsclear, York County, New Brunswick in a grant of 1784. He settled in Westmoreland County in 1803. He married Sarah, daughter of Amos Botsford at Westmoreland in 1790."

    Thomas MILLIDGE, Jr., the son of Thomas MILLIDGE and Mercy BARKER, was born on August 12, 1776 at Hanover, New Jersey. He married Sarah SIMONDS, daughter of James Simonds, on September 10, 1801 at Saint John, New Brunswick, and they had twelve children. Thomas died on August 21, 1838 at Saint John, New Brunswick. Edward was born in 1800 at Amherst, Nova Scotia, died February 6, 1880 in Fredericton, Yorke, New Brunswick and was buried in Rural Cemetery, Dorchester, New Brunswick.
