Ephraim Jehial Milligan
Ephraim was the first of William and Isabelle's children to move to Rochester. I found his grave stone in Riverside Cemetery during the fall of 2003. It was completely overgrown. I located it by finding Elizabeth's tombstone. I had to uncover Ephraim's tombstone by hand.

Even though Ephraim died at 56 he lived a very full life. In 1878-1880 he was a printer in NYC, living in Brooklyn at 676 Fulton. In 1884, he lived at 661 North St. Paul Street and worked at 14 Mill Street in Rochester. He worked at the Rochester Post-Express Newspaper. He lived on St Paul until around 1889-90 when he moved to 6 Selye Terrace where he lived until he died. He was the publisher of the Geneva Courier in 1901 when he died of a heart attack on Main Street in Geneva.
If you are a descendent of Ephraim's and you have any picture of him, I would love to add that to this site. Please email me.
