John MILLIKEN, eldest son of Thomas, was born on 17 May 1766; died on 17 Jan 1843 in Jefferson, Greene Co, PA; buried in Jefferson Twp, Greene Co, PA. He removed from his early home in Juniata Co to Greene Co about 1800. He was a farmer and cooper, and his homestead, which has been owned and occupied by the Milliken family for more than 100 years, is in Jefferson Twp, on the "Ridge Road" from Waynesburg to Carmichaels.

John married (1) Permelia STILES abt 1783. Permelia, born in 1766; died on 4 Oct 1794; buried in Tuscarora Mountains, Juniata Co, PA. She was the only child of Abraham & Patience Stiles who resided near Pumpkin Run, Greene Co.
