Minnie Crawford Patterson the daughter of George Washington Patterson and Rebecca Elizabeth Young was born 19 Sep 1870 in Johnson County, Texas and died 08 Aug 1950 in Joshua, Johnson County, Texas. She married William Thomas McKee 20 Dec 1888 in Johnson County, Texas. He was born 10 Aug 1863 in Texas and died 07 Mar 1930 in Joshua, Johnson County, Texas. They are both buried at Lane Prarie Cemetery, Johnson County, Texas.

They had six children

1   ---   Hugh W. McKee was born 6 February 1890 in Lane Prairie, Johnson County, Texas and died 23 January 1961 in Joshua, Johnson County, Texas. He is buried at Lane Prairie Cemetery, Johnson County, Texas. 

I was told that Hugh was gassed in the Battle for the Argonne Forrest during World War 1 and that he was never able to work after the war. It was said that it effected his mind.

His grave marker has him as a F3 in the US Navy in World War I. He may have been serving with the Marines as a Navy Corpman?  F3 indicates that he was a Fireman 3rd Class, which are not normally assigned to the Marines.

3   ---   Lelia Elizabeth McKee born 21 Feb 1894 in Johnson County, Texas and died 04 Jan 1976 in Johnson County, Texas. She married Chester Bond Gilpin son of Robert Lee Gilpin and Albena Inez Blanton 23 Apr 1913 in Joshua, Johnson County, Texas. He was born 17 Nov 1888 in Joshua, Johnson County, Texas and died 04 Jan 1981 in Joshua, Johnson County, Texas. They are both born at Lane Prairie Cemetery, Johnson County, Texas.

4   ---   Louella McKee born Jun 1896 in Johnson County, Texas and died Aug 1962. She married L. W. Cox in 1919 and divorced in 1929. He was born Mar 1866 and died Mar 1952. She married Charles Davis. She is buried at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park, Ft Worth, Tarrant County, Texas

5 --- Raymond Crawford McKee was born 07 May 1902 in Lane Prairie, Johnson County, Texas and died 11 Apr 1974 in Joshua, Johnson County, Texas. He married Alice Faye Bailey daughter of Adam Quimby Bailey and Alice Elizabeth Hannah Fletcher in 1936 in Decatur, Wise County, Texas. Alice was born 09 Aug 1903 in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas and died 31 Mar 1999 in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas. They are both buried at Greenacres Memorial Park, Cleburne, Johnson County, Texas.

6   ---   Thomas Patterson McKee was born 27 January 1907 in Joshua, Johnson County, Texas and died 3 December 1980 in Kerrville V.A. Hospital, Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas. He is buried at Lane Prairie Cemetery, Johnson County, Texas. His grave has PHM1 US Navy WW1. He was a druggist in Raymondville, Willacy County, Texas.
