GRAN-KNUTSON -- At Elbow Lake, Minn., May 27, 1887, by James E. Williams, justice of the Peace, Mr. Ellef Gran and Miss Karrie Knutson, both of Stony Brook, Grant county, Minn.

FLATNESS-GRAN -- At the residence of the officiating clergyman, Elk Lake, Grant county, Minn., on May 31st, 1887, by Rev. G. Erdahl, Mr. John Flatness and Miss Victoria Gran, both of Lien, Grant Co., Minn.
   After the marriage the happy couple drove at once to the residence of the bride's mother, in the town of Lien, where wedding festivities were participated in by about fifty of their relatives, neighbors and acquaintances.  The HERALD offers its best wishes and heartiest congratulations.

MILLER-JACOBSON -- At Pikop, Grant Co., Minn., on July 16th, 1887, by Rev. P. T. Peterson, Mr. John O. Miller, of Elbow Lake, Minn., and Miss Maria Jacobson, of Vernon county, Wis.

GIVEN-TAYLOR -- At Orono, Me., on August 30th, 1887, by Rev. C. B. Watham, Mr. James M. Given, of Elbow Lake, Minn., and Miss Hattie M. Taylor, of the former place.
   The groom will be recognized as one of our successful lumber dealers.  The couple arrived on Saturday last and are at home at H. W. Barker's.  Mr. Given is known as a royal good fellow and his bride moved in the best social circles of her native town.  The HERALD voices the sentiments of all our citizens in wishing the couple a long and happy married life.

Mons Hanson is to be married on Tuesday (10-25) to Miss Oland, of Gorton.  The boys are expecting him to be liberal with the cigars, etc., on the eventful occasion.

and Andrew Lunberg were married at Eagle Lake on Saturday last. They gave a reception at their home, March 28. About fifty of their young friends were present.

MARRIED.—Hans Slotsve and Miss Teolnia Tollefson, both of this place, were married on Saturday last at the residence of the bride’s parents. The FARMER joins with their many friends in wishing them a long life and prosperity
