On Thursday last, at three
oclock p.m. Miss
Grace L. Fluke and Mr.
Herbert
Hosmer were united in marriage
at the M.E. church, Rev. R. N. Avision
officiating. The church had
been decorated for the occasion with autumn leave and
berries. Misses Zoe and May
Fluke, sisters of the bride were the bridesmaids while Messrs. Frank and
Levitt Hosmer acted as best men.
The bride was beautifully gowned in pearl gray silk and carried
brides roses. Miss Joe
Fluke wore cream crepe and Miss May Fluke wore organdie over white, both
carrying pink roses. The wedding
party drove to the church and were ushered to the altar by Messrs. Lawrence
Meyer and Maynard Hosmer. The
ceremony was performed under an arch of
bittersweet. After the ceremony and congratulations, the wedding party
and a few relatives and guests, repaired to the home of the brides
parents, where a wedding breakfast was served the dining room and table being
decorated with smilax, roses and
carnations. Mr. and Mrs. Hosmer
took the evening train to their future home at Northfield amid showers of
rice and good wishes. Both young
people are very well and favorably known here having been residents of the
village nearly all their lives.
The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Fluke, has always been
a great worker in the church to which she belonged and of which she has been
organist for a number of years, and will be greatly missed by her family
and many sincere friends. The
groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Hosmer one of our oldest citizens, and
is a young man of exemplary habits and sincerely liked and respected by all
who know him. He is at present
in the employ of D. D. Turner, of
Northfield. Bothe were old school
mates of ours and we wish them all the happeness this life
affords.
Among those who wore present from other cities were, Dr. And Mrs. Brubaker,
Mrs. Dr. Turner, Mrs. D. D. Turner and Miss Braden, of Northfield; Misses
Gertrude Williams and Etta Williamson, of St. Paul and Mrs. Amidon, Misses
Thompson, MeGrail and Amidon of
Lakeville. The young couple received many valuable and useful
presents.

Rosemount
On Tuesday morning at 9 oclock Mr.
Joseph Hynes and Miss
Sarah Farrell were united in marriage
at St. Josephs Church, Rev. Father McDevitt
officiating. A large number
of friends of the young couple attended the nuptial Mass and extended
congratulations after the ceremony.
Miss Mamie Connolly, of St. Paul, cousin of the bride acted as bridesmaid
and Edward Garvey acted as best man.
After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the home of the brides
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Farrell, of Lebnon, where a wedding breakfast
was served, the relatives and immediate friends of bride and groom being
present. The gifts to the young
couple were many and varied and showed their popularity in the
community. The bride is a young lade of rare attainments and prominent
in social and church circles. The
groom is a businessman in this village and is a young man of exemplary habits
and has a host of friends. They
will be at home in this village after Nov.
1st. We wish the
newly wedded couple every success in their matrimonial career. (Additional

after a wedding tour at Omaha, Neb., both are looking splendid after the
journey. They have settled down
to housekeeping in the Geraghty residence of which he is now
owner. We wish them joy and
happiness in their new home.

Louis Green and Miss Bridget
Dixon were united in marriage at St. Josephs church, Tuesday morning
at 9 oclock, Rev. Father McDevitt
officiated. Miss Anna Delanev
acted as bridesmaid and Pat Dixon acted as best
man. Both bride and groom are
well known in this community and have a host of
friends. We wish them joy and happiness in their matrimonial
career.

for their newly married son, Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur

Dakota County Breeze of Wednesday, Nov. 30,
1898
At the home of Frank A. Whittier, in St. Paul, last Wednesday evening,
Miss Lucy E. Whittier and Dr.
Geo. R. Day, both of this village,
were united in marriage, the Rev. L. L. Mann
officiating. Only a few relatives and intimate friends were present
to witness the ceremony. The
happy pair went to Owatonna were they remained the rest of the week with
relatives. The bride is a daughter
of Albert Whittier of this village and is one of our most popular young
ladies. She taught several years
in the primary department of our city public schools and was very be high
in the good graces of both scholars, and
parents. The groom, Dr. Day
is a native of Castle Rock and has always lived here with the exception of
the time he devoted to learning his profession,
dentistry. He is a young man
of exceptionally good habits and character and a general favorite with all
who know him. We join their
numerous friends in wishing them much joy.

Farmington Business Man
Married
Mr.
Clifford I. Wells of Farmington,
one of our enterprising and respected merchants, was married on Wednesday
morning at 11 oclock, to Miss
Addie C. Fradden, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George Fadden of New Auburn, Minn., at the home of the
bride.
Mr. Wells will
return to Farmington Thursday evening with his bride and commence
housekeeping in the apartments
over the store of Lewis and
Wells.
Our towns-people
will join with all in extending the newly-wedded couple hearty
congratulations.

The Triple Wedding
The triple wedding which was held at St. Marys church,
New Trier, Tuesday, was one of the happiest events in the history of Hampton
township. The weather was perfect
ad just cold enough to insure good
roads. A large number of people
from Hampton and surrounding towns and country assembled at the church to
attend the nuptial mass.
The beautiful faces and costumes of the brides and bridesmaids
made a picture which impressed itself deeply on all present and will be long
remembered with pleasure.
After the ceremony the young people and their friends returned
to Hampton, where a wedding dinner was served by Mr. and Mrs. Alex
Lindenfelser. After dinner the
three young couples led the way to Weilers hall, where the happy guests
danced and enjoyed themselves until the early hours
Wednesday. The contracting parties, Mr.
Math Tix and Miss
Annie Simons; Mr.
John Tix and Miss
Rosie Lindenfelser; Mr. Aden
Lindenfelser and Miss Josephine
Tix, are all well known and have hosts of friends in
Hampton. The Tribune unites
with their other friends in wishing them all happiness and many years in
which to enjoy all the blessings rightfully theirs.
The costumes of the brides and bridesmaids were very
charming. Miss Annie Simons
was dressed in brown henrietta trimmed with satin and
lace. Miss Rosie Lindenfelser wore a black satin gown trimmed
with white satin and pearls. Miss
Josephine Tix was dressed in black satin trimmed with white satin and
pearls. The bridesmaids,
Misses Gertie Doffing, Annie Endres and Katie Tix were all dressed in brown
serge gowns with white trimmings and
flowers. The grooms and best
men appeared in conventional black.
M.J. Rech, Peter Tix and Frank Hirn acted as best men.
Among the guests present were the parents of the contracting
parties, Mrs. Goodsweilor and daughter of St. Michaels, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Lindenfelser, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lindenfelser, Mrs. and Mrs.
Alex Lindenfelser, Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Endres, and Mrs. P. Endres, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cysiesky.

Married at New Market
On Wednesday, Feb. 1st, Mr.
Hans H. Helgesen and Miss
Caroline K. Ragne, were married
by the Rev. N. A. Quammen. Mr. and Mrs. Helgesen will make their home in Pine county,
Minn.
Louis Berg and bride, of Cooperstown, N.D. are visiting
the Alisons at Christiana, who are relatives of the bride. They are
on their wedding trip. Mr. Berg is of the firm of Berg Bros. &
Co.

The marriage of Miss Ethel
Olive Hause, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Hause of Eagan Town, to Mr.
George Ollie Miles of Souix City,
occurred Wednesday, May 4th 1904, at the home of the brides
parents. Rev. Ernest Dray, of
St. Paul performed the marriage
ceremony. The bride and groom
were attended by Miss Lillian Hause and Mr. Robert Miles of Omaha,
Nebraska. Mr. and Mrs. Miles
have gone on an eastern trip and will be at home in Sioux City after June
first.

Mr. Myrtus A. Wright, of Denmark, and Miss Cecelia
M. Anderson of this city were married on Tuesday afternoon, at four
oclock, at St. Lukes church, Rev. J. W. Barker
officiating. Miss Marion Mullany, cousin of the bride, in a pretty
white dress, was the flower girl, Miss Louise F. Anderson sister of the bride
was bridesmaid and Mr. Benjamin Wright, brother of the broom, best
man. The bride was tastily dressed
in white silk with lace trimmings with hat to match and carried brides
roses. The bridesmaids
dress was blue silk with hat to match and her flowers, pink
roses. Miss Martha L. Rich played
the wedding music. After the ceremony a pleasant reception was held at the
home the brides parents, Mr and Mrs. J. W. Anderson, on Eighth Street,
only relatives and immediate friends being
present. The bride is a young
lady who is admired by a large circle of friends, a graduate of the class
of 1903, and has taught several terms in Dakota and Washington
counties. The groom is a son
of Mr. and Mrs. George Wright, is employed by Swift and Company of South
St. Paul and is a worthy young man.
They left on the evening train for their future home in South St.
Paul accompanied by the best wishes of friends.
