Joe Begg's Blacksmith Shop
Joe Begg's Blacksmith Shop was located on Chestnut Street near the river, about where the railroad tracks are now. Latta's Saloon is in the background. This picture was taken just after Halloween - notice the plow on the roof. The blacksmith shop was later moved three blocks due to the rising waters from the dam built at Keokuk.
