Polk County Georgia Obituaries 1998 Mrs. Mary Coalson, age 84, of Dayton Ohio, formerly of Rockmart, died Sunday, June 7, 1998 in Dayton. Mrs. Coalson was born October 28, 1913 in Polk County. She was a retired Sears Roebuck, and Co. employee as well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and former member of Tucker Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ray Coalson. Survivors include two sons, Michael Coalson of Beavercreek, Ohio and Timothy Coalson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a brother, Lloyd York of Dallas, Ga.; a sister Virginia Osborne of Smyrna; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday, June 12, at 11 a.m. from Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. David Taylor officiating. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
