Jack Brooks, 72, of Acworth died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Collins Funeral Home in Acworth. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth. A Polk County native, Mr. Brooks was a construction laborer. Survivors include his wife Bonnie Brooks; two sons, Scott Brooks and Curtis Brooks both of Acworth; two brothers, J. C. Brooks of Acworth and Gene Brooks of Smyrna; and one sister, Maudie Motes of Acworth. The family will receive friends from noon to 9 p. m. today at the funeral home.
