Sandra Hornbuckle Meders
OMEGA ??? Sandra Patrick Hornbuckle Harrison Meders, 69, of Omega, died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at her residence.
A memorial visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors ??? Tiftarea Chapel. Private graveside services will be conducted at Omega Cemetery with the Rev. Gene Chestnut and the Rev. Steve Moon officiating.
Mrs. Meders was born January 13, 1936, in Omega. She was the daughter of Harry Alexander Hornbuckle and Ernestine Carrie Patrick Hornbuckle, both deceased. She was also preceded in death also by one brother, Jimmy Morgan Hornbuckle.
Mrs. Meders was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Omega. She was a member of Omega Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and playing bridge, hearts, spades and pinochle.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Surviving Mrs. Meders are her husband, Henry C. ???Hank??? Meders of Omega; one daughter and one son-in-law, Diane and Steve Johnston of Orlando; three sons and three daughters-in-law, Mike and LaNell Harrison of Tifton, Gary and Montine Harrison of Omega, and Jeff and Trina Harrison of Tifton; two sisters, Betty Custard of Arlington, Va., and Harriett Edmondson of Tifton; one brother and one sister-in-law, Alex and Myric Hornbuckle of Leesburg; one stepdaughter and one stepson-in-law, Debra and Tom Lathrop of S. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and one stepson, David Meders of Columbus; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors ??? Tift area Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
