Morris Family Association Library
We have compiled a list of sources we have access to. Our goal is to bring Morris family researchers together as best we can. We, have listed the items in which we will do lookup's from as time permits. We will perform a lookup in a timely fashion. If, while your looking through the data below and see something that is your line. Click on the highlighted name before the entry and then follow the directions below. I also have listed the names
of sites where you can purchase books they have available.
Requirements for a look up!
The very first thing you should do before requesting data from a CD listed below is search for your ancestors here first
On-line Family Finder Index this search is also a free search. If your ancestor is not in this INDEX then do not submit your request, as this index will give you a CD# and location. If they are not on the index they will not be on the CD. In order for us to perform a timely lookup, you MUST put the name of the source in the subject of your message (book title, cd# etc.). There must only be two (2) surnames per lookup per day (per source Owner Email). In your request you MUST provide a geographical area, complete name and dates as required, provide them a s.a.s.e, offer any copying fee's when necessary and most importantly say THANK YOU! And last but not least, be patient. This is a volunteer service and most volunteer's work and this service is
done on their free time. If you fail to provide enough information when requesting a free lookup, the volunteer has the right to reject your request. DO NOT ASK for a broad lookup. Use specific FULL names. Ex: If you request John Smith and do not provide a location and dates, the owner has every right to deny your request. Make sure your email address is correct. If your reply is sent and it bounces, the volunteer does not have to resend the message!Links & our Resources
