Lillian Lee Stratton Platt - I am just starting my search for my great grandparents on my mother's side. Her father's name was Charles Harvey Morris married to Edith Pearl Coons. My
Uncle Charles Morris (Mom's oldest brother) was listed in Who's Who of American Men in the book I read in the 80ies. He was born 12-15- 1910. passed away 9-28-1986. Mom was born 6-25-1916 and passed away 7-21-1971. They were born in Illinois. I think Champagne, Urbana area. We are supposed be descendants of Gouvernor Morris. Susan Shannon - I need help in locating the parents of my great grandfather- Lewis E. Morse, born in St. Alban's, VT in about 1845. He married Sarah Angeline Derby, b. 6 Sept. 1848 in Ashburnham, MA. I don't have the place, but the date was 10 Oct. 1874. Since my grandmother was born in Ashburnham in 1877, I'm guessing that's where they were married. And I don't even know if grandmother was an only child.
Robert Luther - I'm looking for information on my Great Grandmother, Gertrude Vaden Morris. She was born Oct 14, 1888 and died September 14, 1967. She was married to Erie Gabriel Hatcher, of Odd, WV. She had a brother, Charles, and two sisters, Alma and Carrie. My grandfather (Charles Morris Hatcher) knows nothing about her parents (his grandparents).
Charles Morris and Carrie Morris never married. Alma married Woodrow Odell. I would be so happy to know anything at all about my Morris relatives. I have several relatives named Morris, but we don't know anything about the family. My e-mail is [email protected] or, even

Timothy Baldwin Morris born 1809 in New Jersey (at least this is the info I got from another relative) His wife was Mary (last name unknown) born 1815 in New Jersey. Place in NJ is also unknown. They left NJ, year unknown but their first 3 children were born in Illinois. They then came to Arkansas. They had 10 children named: Martha, Daniel, Margaret, Ellen, Caroline, Jane, John, Lockey/Lockie/??, David and George. They moved to Texas, back to Arkansas, moved to Spanish Honduras, then to Louisiana where Timothy Baldwin Morris died and is buried. Died Jan 4, 1870 buried in Amite City, Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.
Lisa Morris Reilly - Looking for help with my Morris line. I have a grandfather James William Morris, his father is James Callop Morris(James William is his only son) and his father's name is Enos Morris. James Callop was born in 1886 in Cecil County, Chesepeake City, Maryland. He died in October 1966. His father Enos is where I stopped. I found Enos on the 1900 Census that said he was born in Delaware, October 1850 and his parents were born in England. Sarah McColl is his wife's name and they had about 9 children. Their names are: James Callop, Mollie, John, Viola, Herman, Enos Jr., Tilley, Harry, and Willomina. My next move is maybe an 1860 census to find out his parents name and when they immigrated to America from England. Then I guess I will have to go to Passenger lists. I have found some Websites and I have been using my local Family History Center.
