About 1820, moved to Holmes Co., Ohio. In 1837, after the death of his wife,
he sold his farm and with a large company of relatives moved to Clinton Twp.,
Fulton Co., Ohio. Thomas was the first Justice of the Peace in Clinton Twp.
He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. According to a
Mikesell/Bayes History, Thomas sold his Holmes Co. farm to John Newcomer.
