Free Online Griffiths Index Lookup Click on Land Records. This will bring up a long list. Within this list, under the terms "Irish", "Ireland," etc will be not only Griffith's, but the Tithe Applotment Index and I believe, the Flax Growers List. This is really a great site. I urge you to send in your requests. They're extremely helpful and thorough. Supply them with as much info as you can. Within two weeks you should receive an email with all matching surnames. Even though I requested a particular county, I received all matching surnames for the whole country! It's certainly helpful in narrowing down if your ancestor is in there! The only thing they request is that you only submit one search per day. It's a great site with alot of free lookups, and some for a nominal fee. Submitted by Tracy to Co. Cork mailing list.
