Query: I'm looking for information about the family of Reuben GOODINE (or GODIN) born in New Brunswick abt.1851. According to census information, his parents were born in Quebec. Reuben had 5 or 6 brothers, one of whom ran a lumber camp (possibly in Minnesota). Reuben married Amelia McDONALD MURPHY b.1854. Query: I have come across a family picture of a Leo W. GOODINE wearing a WW2 uniform; I would guess that he was born in the early 1900s. I'm trying to figure out how he fits into the family (possibly the son of G. Winfield GOODINE?). Query: I'm looking for information about a John McDONALD of Scottish descent who married Elizabeth ROBINSON on October 1, 1849 in Eastport, Washington County, Maine. They had a son, Charles McDONALD, born in Fredricton, New Brunswick abt. 1852 and possibly a daughter, Amelia, b. abt 1854. I believe that John died in New Brunswick sometime between 1854-1858. Any information would be appreciated. Query: I'm looking for information on Eliza ST. DENIS (abt1860-1900) who married Bernard THOMAS in 1879. According to family history, Eliza was related to Pierre ST. DENIS (m. Adelaide DAUPHINAIS). But I am unclear as to whether she was his daughter or his niece. Any information would be appreciated. Query: I'm researching Joseph THOMAS, brother to Chief Gabriel COTE of Saskatchewan. Joseph (1816-?) m. Marie Adele WAKITIPIK. They had at least six children: Marguerite (184?-?), Elise (1845-?), LaLouise (1847-?), Francois (1857-?), Bernard (1860-1927), and Adelaide (1863-?). At least three of these individuals gave their surname as THOMAS dit ROUSSIN. I am looking for information on the parents of Joseph THOMAS and Gabriel COTE. I am also trying to understand how the surnames THOMAS, COTE, and ROUSSIN fit together. |

Query: I'm looking for information on William T. BIRD born around 1793 in Addingham, Cumberland, England. His wife, Ann DODD, was also born in Addingham, England around 1810. They married in Addingham in 1828, had one child there and then they immigrated to St. Andrews, Quebec, Canada around 1830. They later moved to Cortland, New York around 1848. By 1857, William and Ann BIRD had moved their family to Olmsted county, Minnesota. Updated! Query: Looking for descendants of the following New York line: Jane BIRD m. ? > ? m. GODDARD > Florence GODDARD m. HAZARD > Betsy HAZARD m. McNEIL. Found! Jane BIRD m. George MILLER > Emma Jane MILLER m. Thomas Levi GODDARD > Florence GODDARD m. Donald HAZZARD > Elizabeth HAZZARD m. John Sears MacNEILL. Query: I'm trying to find out where John Dwight BUCKINGHAM died. He was born in NY in 1846, son of Levi BUCKINGHAM. John was residing in Glyndon, MN when he married his third wife, Zylpha FOOTE, sometime before 1897. I know that their daughter Zella died in Cleveland, OH in 1989 but I don't know where or when John and Zylpha died. I have reason to believe that he lived in Boston, MA for a while and he may be the John D. BUCKINGHAM listed in the Boston directory for 1909. Any information about John and his family would be appreciated. Found! John Dwight BUCKINGHAM d. 1926 Oregon. New Query: John BUCKINGHAM's third wife, Zylpha, was still alive at the time of John's death in 1926. Does anyone know when and where she died? Query: I'm looking for information about Nathaniel MUMFORD who married Mercy (Mary) HELME in Rhode Island around 1800. I believe that Nathaniel may be the son of Simon Ray MUMFORD and that Mercy HELME may be the daughter of James HELME and Sarah CLARKE but I have been unable to prove or disprove this theory. Nathaniel & Mercy had at least two children: James H. MUMFORD and Eliza H. MUMFORD. Eliza married William Helme CASE in Connecticut in 1829. Any information would be appreciated. Still looking! |
