Charlie H. Bing and Sarah Lanier Bing listed in Cowley County, Kansas “Heritage Book”, which lists people in Cowley Countys early days. No date given and neither Charlie H. nor Sarah show up in any of the Kansas census reports I’ve found.
**My Grandmother, Bessie, thinks this might have been her father’s first wife.
Charles F. Bing and Mabel Davis applied for a marriage license in Wichita, Kansas (Sedwick County) on 04 June 1919. Is this Charles any relation to us?? I have found no further mention of this Charles F. or Mabel on Kansas census reports.

Newspaper clippings tucked in Bible:
This was a small clipping that had been cut from the paper and there is no date and nothing to indicate the name of the paper. It seemed very old and other unrelated clippings are from a Boydton newspaper but no name of the paper. All the clippings seemed to be of the same age and print.
Died of ASTHMA at the residence of her husband, Chas.A.Curtis,Esq. near Stony Cross last Tuesday evening, Mrs. Martha V. Curtis after an illness of many months. The deceased leaves her husband and children to mourn her demise and who have the sympathy of the entire community in their heavy affliction.
