I am related to the Cantrell's on my maternal side, through my grandmother Carloyn Mae (PHIPPS) ASHLEY. Her father was Jacob B. Phipps who was the son of Joseph P. Phipps. Joseph was married to Adaline CANTRELL. I haven't found, yet, who Adaline's father was, but I do know that her mother's name was Ruth M. - maiden name unknown. Below is all the information I have on Ruth's descendants thus far.
