Solomon Falls was born in Greene County, Tennessee. He was the oldest son, and third child born to Madison and Sarah Ann (Holland) Falls. He grew up in Greene County, and there he married his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Johnson on 15 Aug 1878. In 1882 Solomon's parents and siblings moved to Cushman, Independence County, AR. He and his wife and two children moved with them. They lived in Cushman and raised five more children there until about 1903, when Solomon moved his family to Lamar County, TX. There, he and Sarah finished raising their children, farmed, and lived out the rest of their lives.
