Isaac Dungan, 99, son of Thomas and Deborah (Doan) Dungan, b. July 19,
1779,
d. January 27, 1844. m. 1801, Mary Dyer, b. May 10, 1781, d. June 23, 1849,
daughter of Joseph and Christian ( ? )
Dyer. The
will of Joseph Dyre, of Oxford Township, Philadelphia County, Pa., dated
August 10, 1831, pr. March 2, 1835, mentions wife Christiana Dyre, son James;
daughters: Rebecca Edwards, Mary Dungan, Phebe Dungan, Hetty Dyer, Hannah
Caster and Christiana Dyer. Son James to have all lands and tenements on
easterly side of Tacony Creek, purchased of George Kenton and Leonard
Shallcross, Sr. All residue of estate to be divided equally among his six
daughters above named. Provision made that his daughter Phoebe's share was to
be placed at interest and the income to be paid to her and at her death to be
divided among her children. Executors:
son James and friend Joshua Jones, of Lower Dublin. Witnesses:
Leonard Shallcross and Jesse Walton. (Phila. Wills, Vol. 2, p. 394). May
29, 1847, in the partition of the estate of Joseph Dyer, late of Oxford
Township, the following were his heirs: Mary Dungan, widow of Isaac; Phebe
Dungan, widow of James; Lewis Dungan and Phebe his wife; Jesse, Thomas and
John Dungan, who joined in a deed to John G. Feese and Christiana his wife.
(32, A. W. M., p. 197). The
will of Isaac Dungan, of Northampton, Bucks County, Pa., dated April 12, 1837,
pr. Feb. 3, 1844, mentions wife Mary; sons: John, Jesse and Thomas. Issue:

Sarah Dungan, 99, daughter of Thomas and Deborah (Doan) Dungan, b. June 25,
1783, d. August 6, 1814, single. (Tombstone at Southampton). The
will of Sarah Dungan, of Northampton, Bucks County, Pa., pr. August 31, 1814,
mentions brother Daniel; cousin William Doan; Aunt Mary Doan; cousins: Mary
and Deborah Doan, brothers: James, Isaac and Daniel Dungan. Executors: John
McNair, Esq., and Daniel Dungan. 247.
Daniel Dungan, 99, son of Thomas and Deborah (Doan) Dungan, b. Dec. 30, 1784,
d. March 3, 1837. (Tombstone at Southampton). m. October 25, 1821, (57)
Catharine Edams, b. April 2, 1803, d. April 10, 1887, intestate. Letters of
administration May 28, 1887. Daughter of James and Elizabeth ( ? ) Edams, of
Northampton Township. He died intestate, Letters of Administration on his
estate were granted March 9, 1837. Issue:

Mahlon Dungan, 101, son of John and Phoebe (Corbet) Dungan, b. circa 1772, (Of
Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pa. 1811). m. circa 1797, Polly (Minster?) He
was baptized December 21, 1826, at St. James P. E. Church, Norristown, Pa., as
an adult. Issue:

Jeremiah Dungan, 105, son of Elisha Dungan. No record of any descendants
found. 252.
Elijah Dungan, 105, son of Elisha Dungan, m.-Hannah Chambers. He
settled in Sniythe County, Va., near his brother, John R. Dungan's farm, and
later removed about two miles north of the Middle Fork, where William R. and
Malinda J. (Faris) Hays, are now living, 1916. Nov. 13, 1797, Elisha Dungan patented 100 acres on the Middle Fork of Holston river, Washington (now Smythe) County, Va., and the next day, 400 acres adjoining. In 1800, Elisha Dungan and Hannah his wife, conveyed 202 acres of this tract to John Dungan. (Abington, Va., Deed Book 5, p. 277). Mr. Thomas.............
