1. Owen WILLIAMS died in New London, New London Co., Connecticut.

    Owen Williams was with Benedict Arnold's troops when he came to New London, & was on the New London side of the river during the massacre at Fort Griswold. He was also in the Battle of Moumouth Gurthouse. His regt. was the 30th, of the English Army. Here he fell in love with the widow, Elizabeth (Skinner) Norton, and married her. They had Joseph, Alexander, (who was a Lt. on the famous privateer "General Armstrong"), William and Leonard.

Owen married Elizabeth SKINNER on Jul 1785 in New London, New London Co., Connecticut.
