Celebrate Fiftieth WeddingAnniversary
Monday, October 7th, was the fifti-
eth wedding anniversary of Mr. and
Mrs. Wm. A. Elder of North Market
street, and on Sunday, members of
their family and a few friends gather-
 ed at the Elder home and helped Mr.
and Mrs. Elder celebrate the event.
A bountiful dinner was served and
 The day was spent in a quiet social
 Way.

ELDER  SHIPLEY
In Pittsburg at the residence of Mr.
 and Mrs. Eddy on Thursday evening,
Sept. 10, 1903, by the Rev. J. L. Smith,
D.D., pastor of Christ Lutheran church,
Mr. John F. Elder, of South Side, Pitts-
 Burg, formerly of Ligonier, and Miss
 Anna B. Shipley, of Idle Park, West-
 moreland county.  They went on a wed-
ding trip to Atlantic City for a few days’
 journey.  The best wishes of their Lig-
onier valley friends go with them through
 life.
