Town Hall in Cowansville was built in 1882 by the g-grandfather of Ethel Dessert , John J. Bell .
It is the first Town Hall built in Cowansville,
The 1st floor was the Cowansville Academy for girls with 3 classrooms.
The 2nd floor is a big hall used for Town Meetings and Musical and Theater Events.
