That's the question my father asked a man he met in 1933 at the Chicago World's fair. In a way he was teasing, but surprisingly the man replied "I'm not sure but my grandfather was born in Tennessee."
Tennessee was full of WRIGHTs in the 1800's. They came from everywhere and many of them scattered to points north, south and west(and maybe a few back to the east.
I've been researching all Tennessee Wrights from early 1800's through 1850 at least and sometimes later. My research has been going on since late 1970's. I plan on entering data I've collected on WRIGHTS in Tennessee. I hope it will be helpful to all WRIGHT researchers.
