Joseph Clifton and Anna K. Heath had the following child:

2 i. Mary "Elizabeth"² Clifton was born in Prophetstown, Whiteside County, IL June 26, 1843. Mary died December 10, 1891 in KS, at 48 years of age. She married Oscar Oliver Olmstead in Whiteside County, IL, March 31, 1867. Oscar was born in Erie, Whiteside County, IL October 31, 1840. Oscar was the son of Oliver Olmstead and Electa Hunt. Oscar died February 11, 1932 in Murtaugh, Twin Falls, ID, at 91 years of age. He is buried at Conway Springs, Sumner County , KS. (See Oscar Oliver Olmstead for the continuation of this line.)
