30 June 1864, Reported "absent in arrest" until he returned to duty prior to 27 October 1864, when he was captured at Burgess' Mill,  Virginia, Confined at Point Lookout, Maryland, until paroled and transferred to Boulware's Wharf James River, Virginia, where he was received
30 March 1865 for exchange.

Present or accounted for until wounded in the head and left arm at White Hall on 16 December 1862, returned to duty prior to 1 January 1863, and present or accounted for until captured at Falling Waters, Maryland, 14 July 1863.  Confined at Old Capitol Prison, Washington DC, until transferred to Point Lookout, Maryland, 31 July 1863, Transferred to Elmira ,New York 16 August 1864, until paroled and transferred to Boulware's Wharf James River, Virginia, where he was received 15 March 1865 for exchange.
