NELLIS-NELLES REUNIONS

Each year, in the middle of the summer, there are three Nellis/Nelles Family Reunions .

One American Nellis Family Reunion is scheduled for Sunday, July 23rd, 2006, at the 1747 Nellis Tavern. The Nellis Tavern is located on State Route 5, just outside the Town of St. Johnsvlle in Montgomery County New York. Registration for the reunion will begin at 11:00 am. At 12:00 noon there will be a potluck luncheon (bring a your table service and  a dish to pass).  A business meeting to elect officers and discuss Association business will follow
the lunch. Everyone is welcome to attend the reunion.

The 29th Nellis Reunion of descendants of Vera and Walter Nellis will be held the weekend
of
July 1-2, 2006 in Birch Tree, MO. Walter Austin Nelles (#3694) was born in Scotland, Bon Homme County, SD on 2 Jun 1877. He died 3 May 1961 in Kansas. He married Vens
Hooper in 1910. She died in 1926.  Contact Vena Lee Blondel at

     The Canadian Nellis-Nelles Family Reunion is scheduled to be held at noon on Sunday August. 13, 2006 at Ruthven Park in Cayuga, Ontario beginning at 11:00 am. The park is on
Hwy #54 between Caledonia and Cayuga. Information about the park is available at
