She was born in Chicago and moved to the Orlando area in the 50's, where she lived for the remainder of her life. She graduated from FTU, now UCF, in 1973, and enjoyed a variety of employments including writing for the "Little Sentinel", selling real estate, and managing public relations at Loch Haven Museum. She took up painting with acrylics after her retirement, and had several showings of her paintings. She is predeceased by her husband, Van Feltus; and her siblings; she is survived by her son, Chris Feltus; daughter, Carolyn Feltus-Atkinson; son-in-law, Andy Atkinson; and her grandchildren, Alyse, Michelle and Brian Atkinson. A Memorial Service is scheduled on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 1:30 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Winter Park in the Chapel.
