The attendants who ed the bride and her father down the church's center aisle were in a rainbow of pastel colors one in pink one in green and the third in yellow Their sleeveless frocks were identically made of lace over taffeta the floor-length skirts detailed at the empire lines with satin cummerbunds finished with back bows For their headpieces they added matching flaring clusters Miss Peggy Hicks of mont performed or duties carrying a bouquet of yellow baby roses the bridesmaids Miss Mary Toth and the benedict's sister Lynn also of Fremont held white carnations blended with pink rosebuds Six-year-old Julie Matthews preceded her sister to the tar as flower girl and young Michael Devine carried the ring. The bride herself was in a froth of white organza as she approached the altar on the arm of her father with a long-sleeved molded bodice detailed with embroidery at the scalloped neckline her gown had a lowing lace-trimmed overskirt that formed a Watteau train in the back Her veil was shoulder length captured by a caplet of lace petals tipped with seed pearls crystals and her flowers were a lacy arrangement of white carnations centered with the orchid cor sage she later pinned to her ensemble.
