My Grandmother Anna Josephine (Nestor) O'Brien was from Ballyalla, Kilshanny, County Clare, Ireland. Her parents were Michael Nestor and Bridget McInerney from Kilshanny, County Clare, Ireland. She had four, sisters Catherine, Mary Ann, Delia Bridget, and Gretta and four, brothers Michael, Patrick "PJ", Thomas, John. She married James Joseph O'Brien, 1916, St. Michael Church, Hartford, Connecticut. Anna and James had four children, John (Jack) Michael, Walter (Walt) Anthony and James (Jimmy) Joseph Jr, and one daughter, Anna Mary (Nancy).
- John Michael married Edna Myrlene (Mamie) Connally, January 01, 1944, at the Army Base, Eagle Pass, Texas. John and Myrlene had seven children, Catherine Nell, Theresa, John Michael, Dennis James, Timothy Joseph, Thomas Glenn, and Kevin Charles.
- Anna Mary (Nancy) married Joseph Warren Pettit, August 22, 1942, at St Joseph's in Hewlett. Nancy and Joseph had two children, Geraldine Ann, and Robert James.
- Walter Anthony married Evelyn (Evy) Francis Stark, February 02, 1946, at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Lynnbrook, New York. Evelyn and Walter had five children, Evelyn Margaret (Lynn), Walter Joseph, James Daniel, Daniel James, and Frances Ann (Franny).
- James Joseph Jr. married Elizabeth Anne (Betty) Sheehan, July 19, 1952, at St. Thomas Aquinas, Buffalo, New York. James and Betty had seven children, Ann Marie (Nancy), Kathleen, James Patrick, Maureen Teresa, Sean Joseph, Kevin Matthew, and Mary Margaret (Molly).
