Thank you so much for your information on the cemetery records for Valley, Imperial, PA.

My great uncle's name appears on your list and I expect it has been taken from an MI inscription. It isn't strictly correct and I wonder if you would like the correct details for your list.

I am writing about the name noted on your list  - Thomas Forster - and suspect that this is how it is written on His Monumental S~tone, but his correct name is actually.

Thomas Tyrie Forrester
born 1889 Markinch, Fife, Scotland
died 1918 at US Army Base For Sam, Houston, Texas.

He was a young man, far from home, who went in 1911 to USA to seek a better life.  He went to live with his aunt, Margaret Dick [also on your list] and to be with his friends, the Tyries [also on your list]. They were a little community from the county of Fife in Scotland [where you find St Andrews, home of golf]. He was caught up in  WW1 sortly afterwards, and died in November 1918 of bronchopneumonia - possibly from the 'flu which ravaged the whole world at that time.

I am thrilled to find his name on your page, Thank you so much from a very grateful researcher for the sterling work you carry out.

Your sincerely
