------ NOTES: William was the third of the eleven children born to William McAdams and Margaret Porter. The others were Elizabeth (Mrs. Augustus M. Shutterly), Mary, Margaret (Mrs. William P. Fowler, Sr.), Elverette (Mrs. George B. Snyder), Emma (Mrs. Harry Lewis), James Dorsey, Olive Blanch (Mrs. Ed O'Donnell), Mark (husband of Estella V. McCahill), Frank, and Laura (Mrs. James M. O'Donovan). He is buried in Braddock.
