------ Lois McAdams' obituary appears in the June 21, 1920 Gazette. Although her name is spelled with the apostrophe, [M'ADAMS] note that her father's name is spelled McAdams. I have seen these two spellings used interchangeably in other documents: NOTES: Lois was one of five children born to William C. McAdams Jr. (1862-1941) and Mary Tomlinson McAdams. The others were Virginia, Lillian, Leona B. and William III. Lois' grandparents were William C. McAdams (1834-1922) and Margaret Porter McAdams (1837-1916). Her great-grandparents were George McAdams and Elizabeth Faith McAdams.
