McAdams and Louise Thomson. Funeral from McCabe Bros Funeral Home, 5300 Penn Ave. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 1957 at 9 a.m. Requiem high mass Sacred Heart Church at 10 a.m.
NOTES: Thomas J. McAdams Sr. was born at Rear 137 46th Street in Pittsburgh on September 8, 1881. His parents were James Emmett McAdams and Catherine Sullivan. He worked as a draftsman at American Bridge and Pittsburgh Plate Glass. He married Louise Catherine Wertz on September 12, 1906 at St. Augustine's Church, Pittsburgh. Thomas and Louise's six children were all living at the time of his obituary, and are listed in the obituary in birth order. Thomas died at Shadyside Hospital and was buried in Section H-281, St. Mary's Cemetery, Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Also in Section H-281 are Thomas' parents, James and Catherine, his sister Lida [or Lydia] and Thomas' half-brother, Charles V. McAdams.
