AUTOGRAPHS - JUNE 1932 - P.S. 12

Autograph Book "Schoolday Memories" of Marjorie Malcolm
Public School 12, Staten Island, New York

Little book go far and near,
To all my friends
I love so dear
and bid them all to write a page
That I may read in my old age
Marjorie

Marjory Malcolm, ca 1936. She lost a year or two of school in her youth because of an episode of rheumatic fever.

This album was signed on Staten Island, Richmond Co., NY, and in December of 1932, in Quincy, Massachusetts, family members and others added their signatures. I have transcribed my mother's album with the original spelling, punctuation and emphasis. Pictures are included with some transcriptions. She freely allowed my sister and I so sign her album, a few times, some years after 1932. JSF
