The tenantry of  Mr. R.G  DAVIS at FRIDANE, near MALLOW, have received an abatement of 30 per cent through the agent, Mr. James BUTLER, of WATERVILLE.

 

The island tenantry of Mr. LATOUCHE, DUBLIN, have through the agent, Major KEGELL, received an abatement of 20 per cent.  The tenants paid the rents.  The BALLINROBER tenantry near, CASTLETOWN ROUTE have been granted a similar reduction, by the agent, Mr. William PURCELL, of DROMORE, MALLOW.

 

Captain TOWNSEND, the agent over the estate of the late Mr. John HYDE has given reductions varying from 20 to 25 per cent to the tenantry, in the MITCHELSTOWN and FERMOY Districts.

 

Dr. DUNCAN has given his BALLYGASKIN, MITCHELSTOWN, tenants, 20 per cent abatement.

 

Mr. O'CALLAGHAN, of CORK, has abated the rents of his BALLYLANDERS, MITCHELSTOWN, tenants 15 per cent.

 

Rev. H. SWANSON, NEWBERRY, attended CHARLEVILLE to receive the March rents from his tenantry in the district, and accepted t he rents, less 40 per cent, reduction.

 

Mr. LEONARD, J.P. of KILLARNEY, has granted the BALLINCURRIG tenants of Mrs. DOWNING a concession of 20 per cent.

 

Lord MASSEY has accepted the rents from a number of his ANGLESBOROUGH, MITCHELSTOWN tenants, less 20 per cent.                       

 

The tenantry of Lord James BUTLER, at GLENROE, near MITCHELSTOWN, were recently tendered an abatement.

 

Mr. Henry L. YOUNG, CORK, has given his MITCHELSTOWN tenantry an abatement of 20 per cent.  He has accorded a similar reduction to his YOUGHAL and KILDORRERY tenants.
