INDEX:EMIGRANT SAVINGS BANK RECORDS 1850s-1860s incomplete
I have several pages of account information from the (NYC) Emigrant Savings Bank records.These pages list the account holder's name [most are Irish, but some are not, some are born in the U.S.],
address, occupation, sometimes age, marital status and spouse's name, usually parents names,
place of birth, date and ship of arrival. Sometimes the handwriting is difficult,
so not all the info can be made out.
I will be entering this info into http://www.GenExchange.com when I get the time. There are alreadysome 2000 names in that database (none entered by me yet) in the New York page.
