The ROUTH CEMETERY is located in Brown County, Texas, about twelve miles northeast of Brownwood. Directions for the cemetery:
Take Farm Road 1467 north at Blanket (off US Highway 377), go north and west until you reach Brown County Road 351. Bear west off 351 to Brown County Road 371. Routh Cemetery will be on the north side on a rise of land.
The Routh Cemetery was surveyed first on 15 Mar 1972 by Hazel Wetzel. It was surveyed again on 18 Jan 1998 by Ralph and Sue Seibert.
Land for the ROUTH CEMETERY was donated by Levin and Violet (Brown) Routh. The oldest grave in the cemetery is that of their daughter, Elizabeth A. Routh, its date being 4 Sep 1876.
