ODOM twins Georgette J. Odom Pereira Kammer and Gloria J. Odom Trommler are daughters of George Cosby ODOM, Jr (born in Kentucky; deceased) and Harriet Aileen (ZIMMER) ODOM (born in California; deceased). Picture taken Dec. 2004, PA - the swing arbor in memory of our mother. The parents were missionaries in Brazil, South America where the twins were born.

We are grandaughters of George Cosby ODOM, Sr and Connie Bell (WALKER) ODOM of Webster Co., Ky (both deceased). Also of Merrill Kemspter ZIMMER, SR and Florence Joan (AYRES) ZIMMER of California (both deceased).

Our great-grandparents are Jepp Newton "Jack" ODOM md. Ideller Catherine "Idella" BURTON; John David "Johnnie" WALKER md. Rosa Avery THOMAS; Elias ZIMMER md. Emeline HELLYER; and Ransom Osborn AYRES md. Fannie Jane REAVER.

Our great-great-grandparents are identified as John S. S. "Swapping John" ODOM md. Julia Ann ODOM; William Thomas "Tom" BURTON md. Elizabeth Ann "Betty" KING; John WALKER md. Martha Holland MAJORS; William "Billy" THOMAS md. Mary E. DUKE; William ZIMMER md. Sarah Ann (___); Ezrie HELLYER md. Elizabeth SCHURMAN; and Buenos AYRES md. Sarah OSBORN.

My appreciation goes to Georgette for providing my family with an updated computer system and a subscription to on line census research at Ancestry.com. It is our interest to research not only our direct line, but also collateral lines. Gloria has been in contact with quite a variety of cousins due to researching cousin lines and has exchanged a good bit of genealogy data.
